wBMS-HX

The Wattius wBMS-HX is a high-performance BMS solution for high-voltage large-scale battery energy storage. The system has been designed for applications up to 1.500 V and provides reinforced isolation for all external interfaces according to IEC60664.
The wBMS-HX features direct compliance with IEC62619 and is pre-certified for Functional Safety, with a Compliance Report for ISO13849:1 Performance Level D issued by a certified third-party testing entity.
This BMS solution features an Ethernet interface with support for Modbus TCP for local device control (i.e. PLC, EMS, inverter). It also supports encrypted cloud connectivity, with integration with MQTT brokers and complete compatibility of the wBMS-Toolkit over internet.
Each BMU supports up to 48 CMUs. Multiple BMUs can be connected in parallel without additional hardware. The system automatically handles smart string connection / disconnection and provides a single control interface with EMS / Inverter.
The wBMS-HX family is available with two CMU options. The wBMS-HX CMU12 and the wBMS-HX CMU16. And these are also compatible with wBMS-MX BMU and wBMS-MX BMU Pro.

Compliance Report for Functional Safety ISO13849-1 Performance Level D
wBMS-MX BMU Pro and all the wBMS-HX lineup have been evaluated and tested by an independent certified European laboratory and feature a Compliance Report for ISO13849-1, Performance Level D. The Compliance Report is accompanied by a full Safety Manual documentation, allowing our customers to integrate our wBMS and design a fully Functional Safety compliant end product.
Our wBMS products are fully compliant for Functional Safety while keeping all their flexibility and parametrization features. The Functional Safety performance and compliance is not bound to custom firmware developments, or complex, costly and lengthy custom projects. Just integrate and configure the off-the-shelf BMS according to your requirements and to the Safety Manual, and you will have a fully compliant system.

All wBMS models are compatible with the same wBMS-Toolkit, a free PC software that provides real-time monitoring of all BMS measurements, as well as configuration of thousands of parameters in a flexible and intuitive way.
Connection between wBMS-Toolkit and the devices can be established through USB, CAN bus, Ethernet or even Bluetooth.
